Jared Goff is a registered patent attorney. He handles a variety of technologies, including software, electronic devices, and mechanical devices. His practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent, trademark and copyright applications, as well as counseling clients and preparing opinions on intellectual property issues. Before starting his solo practice, Mr. Goff did similar work for several years at large patent law firms. He also gained substantial experience in patent and trademark litigation before the federal district courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

In addition, Mr. Goff worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which handles appeals from patent cases throughout the United States and from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Through that experience, Mr. Goff gained a deeper understanding of patent and trademark law and procedure, as well as a unique perspective on how patent and trademark issues are decided.
